Michael Collings sings Hallelujah

Michael Collings, owner of one of the best voices in the present, from my point of view, performs Hallelujah, one of the songs that I like to hear very often. Hope you enjoy the combination of musical beauty, and hope that record labels open their narrow minds and support artists of his kind.
If you like it, his version of Tracy Chapman´s Fast Car is available on iTunes store. It will be my first purchase in iTunes, and a symbol of my support to Michael and other real and natural talented people, that fight to survive in a jungle of cliches, cold faces of shallow souls and spaces dominated by the power of contacts and the influence of almighty numbers.

In Her Eyes

As I explain in my reportage Hounding Misery – a four chapter story about the situation of greyhounds, and other canine species, in Spain -, thousands of dogs are abandoned, killed and kept malnourished and in bad conditions, in our country. Same happens in other places, as far as I know.
This image portrays one of those dogs, that had better luck than other mates and was rescued from the streets, after wandering about for more than a week, without water or food. She is now waiting for a new home, and so are the rest of the friendly dogs that crowd our dog shelters. If you plan to ad a member to your family, please be wise and adopt one of these wonderful beings. It´s the correct option, and you won´t regret it.

A year ago, thousands of Spanish citizens took the streets of the main cities, in order to show their profound discomfort and request a drastic change in the damaged and corrupted political system.

Michael Jordan to the Max

Released in IMAX in 2000, this film is about the life and career of basketball player Michael Jordan, focusing mainly on him during the 1998 NBA Playoffs. It is narrated by Lawrence Fishburne, and it´s a great way to introduce future generations to the man who has been, from my point of view, the greatest athlete of all time.
