El Campo de Cebada

ENG/ Last Sunday, after a pleasant lunch in the popular neighbourhood of La Latina, in Madrid, we bumped into this interesting place. Located in a plot, in the middle of the big city, El Campo de Cebada (The Barley Field) is the name given to this artistic/social/cultural space by the group of neighbours that brought this place to life. Activities include concerts, poetry and gardening, among others, in a creative place furnished with recycled objects. I really liked it.

Loving Vincent
February 19, 2014 § 3 Comments
The guys from Oscar-winning studio BreakThru Films are in the process of creating a piece that I find really interesting. It will be the first feature-length animated film made solely through hand-painted canvases – more than 40 painters will create nearly 60,000 paintings -, examining the life of post-Impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh.
In words of the creators: “Loving Vincent is an investigation delving into the life and controversial death of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the world’s most beloved painters, as told through his paintings and by the characters that inhabit them.”
Stone Sculptures in Menorca

Following the ancient path of Camí de Cavalls (Horse Path), on the way to Cala Pregonda, in the island of Menorca, Spain, you will find this amazing garden of stone sculptures, created by all the improvised artists that decided to contribute with their formations, left afterwards at the mercy of the capricious balance.

Foggy Training in Turner Painting
October 27, 2013 § Leave a comment
Just finished a nice bike training of 48 km, surrounded by a mysterious fog that reminded me of the paintings by British romantic landscape painter, J. M. W. Turner.
Fortunately, I had my iPhone handy, and, with it´s presence, the possibility of capturing this magical moments and bring them to you. Regarding equipment, I am riding a fast and light Specialized Sirrus Comp, that I recommend for an agile training and quick commuting.
