New Website: Inusualia

I am happy to present you my new website project, named Inusualia, where I will be publishing travel and culture reportages, on a regular basis. You will also be able to read enhanced versions of previously published series, such as Lapland Adventure or Chronicles of Japan, with larger images.

Pancho and the Sock

This charming hairy being is Pancho, a cute puppy we rescued from the streets of a small village in Spain, during the weekend. As we have done with others, in the past, we decided to bring him home with our 3 other canine mates, until we find a good adopting family.

This afternoon, I caught him playing with one of my socks, so I decided to get the camera and take some snapshots. This images are part of the experience. Hoping you enjoy them, I suggest that you think twice before buying a dog; there are thousands waiting for an opportunity, and your new best friend may be waiting in a dog shelter near your home. Don´t Buy, Adopt. 

Beltza is Adopted

A month and a half after she arrived home, and already recovered from her state of malnutrition, Beltza (On the right) has a new home and a new canine brother, named Pepo (On the left). Thanks to all those who helped spreading the case or/and showing interest for this lovely living being. As it happens with all the animals who have passed through our home, she leaves a certain portion of emptiness, but this is how life works.

3 Months with My Sirrus Comp

As some of you already know, I spend many hours on the bike, as my basic training for future trips and projects. Many have asked me about the bike that I am riding at the moment, so I will briefly talk about it in this post.

Three months ago, after years of using different mountain bikes and the heavier Crosstrail, I decided to make a change and, although very interested in shifting to a classical road bicycle, finally selected a Specialized Sirrus Comp 2013.

Ronnie, Gitano and Valentina share space with the newcomer, Beltza, a Spanish Greyhound we adopted the other day – after being abandoned in a state of malnutrition -, as I recount in a previous post.

My girlfriend, best friend, model and partner, during the past 3 years – more or less, I´m not the best with dates -, turns 28 today. A good occasion to wish her all the best, in all possible aspects. On the pic, Alicia enjoys an instant of serenity on a beautiful beach of Ibiza, Spain.
